This work is ‘FRIDA KAHLO’ Exhibition Poster.
I wanted to describe Frida Kahlo’s dramatic and painful life experience
on my artwork by recasting her original work that shows her painful life experience,
for example, physical pain from multiple bone fractures that caused from car accident
she survived as a teenager and her broken heart because of her husband’s cheating.
When I was working on this poster, I got inspired from her home, which is known as
“La Casa Azul”, the Blue House and portrayed pets that she loved a lot and patterns
that I could find in her house and clothing.
