Task
The purpose of this demonstrator was to show a seamless integration of a display into an instrument cluster, software and hardware wise. The gauges continued into the display, but depending on the driving condition were also able to give room for additional content
Workflow
My job was to come up with a visual style, rework the storyboard and execute the animation. Most of the animation and rendering was done in Cinema 4D with the physical renderer. I then did all the menus and compositing in After Effects for greater flexibility and exported a PNG sequence in the end.
The car model was taken from another project I also worked on and was built by Malgorzata Swienty and Benedikt Stuecken.
