Work done for an illustration workshop - creating and illustrating a story.
All shapes are done from parts of a single flower.
Acrylic, 21x29,7 cm
On the rainy days the flower germinates.
"Where are you going, worm?"
"Until your highest branch. When I arrive I'll make my cocoon, sleep until I become a butterfly, and then I'll fly and discover the world"
"Is the world preety?"
"I've heard so."
And so did the worm climb. So slowly, so slowly, that when she arrived to the top the flower had grew up too.
"Oh noooo! What happened? They took my friend and her dreams!" And the flower cried endlessly.
"She cried and cried for so long she became blue."
And while remembering her friend she felt very ligh, she moved her petals - or were they wings?
And she continued travelling.
