Beginning as a unique wedding theme, the Faceless T.V. Project has had several iterations as both a reception wayfinding system and commercial sales product. My wife and I are avid television enthusiasts, and chose to incorporate shows that have been prevalent throughout our relationship in our wedding celebration. Rather than using typical table numbers to help guests find their seats, our tables were each named after a different show we have enjoyed together. Incorporating the popular trend of wedding favors, guests found their name on a bookmark with the television show illustration corresponding to their table location. Since the wedding celebration, the fan art has successfully sold on our Etsy shop, Rizza & Co, and has even been featured on Buzzfeed as a “must purchase” item for fans of the series New Girl.
