SWITCH represents a new way of sharing. A platform where people can share and exchange unused or unwanted items, much like barter trade in the past, so as to de-clutter our environment and cut down on wastages.
The two “V” (which is the “W” in the typeface) in the logo looks like two arrows and symbolizes the change of direction or switching. The use of different colors for the two “V” represent two objects for exchange. Blue is often associated with imagination, inspiration and can also represent meanings of trust, sincerity and loyalty. Green on the other hand, is the color of renewal, nature, freshness and hope.
The meaning behind the colors resonated with our brand’s mission and we hope it will encourage people to re-evaluate their buying and discarding practices. And switching is all it takes, after all each piece of trash was once a resource.
