The Aquaponic Cycle Concept
Aquaponics is the combination of aquaculture and hydroponics that grows fish and plants in one integrated system. It is essentially a self-sustaining ecosystem. Fish waste that is broken down by the worms and microbes provides the nutrients to the plants. In turn, the plants act as natural water filter for the fish.
The Aquaponics Cycle
1. Fish converts feed into growth and producesexcrement with large amount of ammonia.
2. Worms break down the fish waste and microbes such as the nitrifying bacteria convert ammonia into nitrite and nitrate.
3. Plants use the nitrate and other mineralised materials as nutrients to grow.
4. Water cleaned up by the plants returns to the fish tank.
Introducing the Aquaponics Home Kit
Aquaponics Home Kit is designed to make home food production easy and fun.  It can be placed anywhere as long as there is 4-5 hours of sunlight. All you need to do is to feed your fish and watch  your plants grow. No watering, no weeding. It is completely hassle-free.
