An inspiration for Air Chair was Michael Thonet and his chair no 14. Our aim was to achieve simple form from the elements provided by Paged Furniture Factory. In that way we wanted to show potential of bentwood furniture. The seat bend from a plywood is hanged between two parts connecting arms. This way it hangs in the air, making the whole construction simple and light. It is dedicated to gastronomy interiors. The prototype was made during workshop organised by Cieszyn Castle called "Bentwood furnitures – tradition and future ".
