For my Senior Project, I decided to study how a consumer's emotions affect the way they view radio and television advertisements, and how advertisers can use sound to influence those emotions. Then, I worked with a local hardware store to create several ads (2 radio, 1 television) based on my findings. This was the result.
The television ad script & storyboard went through several drafts, but the final product left the client extremely pleased (and it went viral in the town)! This commercial was filmed in about 2 hours with a DSLR and a key light.
I created 2 radio advertisements for my client (a local hardware store) based on research about how sound affects consumer emotions in advertising. I chose to create both a 30 and a 60 second ad because it allowed flexibility for varying time slots but still managed to get all of the necessary information out.
The jingle was built using royalty-free instrumental loops and by recording my own voice.
