I illustrated 8 major players in Barry Svrluga's The Grind, published by Blue Rider Press. All were created in Photoshop and Illustrator using a Wacomb tablet. This was printed uncoated on cardstock for an 8" x 12" poster.
I created 3.5"x2.5" baseball cards featuring these illustrations. Each character was drawn based on images of the players that I sourced online.
The backs of the "playing cards" featured statistics that I pulled from the book about each character covered.
