Challenge:
Designing a series of cards about graphic design throughout history that explains the usage of typography, technology, imagery, color, ornament, and theme that each era used.
Solution:
A series of 9 cards were designed that focused on key points of graphic design throughout history. On the back of each card, a 3 column grid was designed to represent the 6 different areas of how graphic design was influenced with one image depicting two categories. On the front one word was chosen to display the overall feel of graphic design in that era. Each word was hand drawn and had a specific typeface chosen that complimented the era.
