When Chronic Disease Fund asked us to do their Annual Report it had been made clear that the client didn't see much value in the project. They did not perceive an annual report as another way to sell their brand.

Eager to disprove the misconception we developed several concepts to tell the Chronic Disease Fund (CDF) story. What we landed on was a exploration of the small everyday moments  - watching the ships sail in with a spouse, going fishing as a young man, making lunch for a son - that our patients were able to enjoy thanks to the help provided by CDF.

Wanting to use real patient stories but unable get patient photography, the challenge was to tell their story without them. Instead we used symbolic objects from their experiences with short messages from the patients to highlight the significance these moments have in their lives.

In the end the client was so pleased with the execution they put the project on a rush so they could hand it out at an upcoming event. It became a favored collateral piece that was featured around the office.
