Retail Brochure

The shelf life of a brochure in today's digital arena is endangered. When creating a brochure to highlight an architecture firm's retail practice, I led a small team to create a piece with useful reference information for the target market: retail real estate developers. Typically, developers are working with name-brand retailers such as Crate & Barrel, The Container Store, Nordstrom Rack and others long before a lease is signed by doing test fits of the space. I worked with an architect to create the "Retail Rules of Thumb" guide as a tool for developers in this space. Both rulers are to scale. The piece also highlights the retail store and shopping center experience of the architecture firm using a carefully edited selection of renderings and photography. From conceptual design to setting up the images for pre-press, my services included press checks and working with the printer directly. The brochure is sized by U.S. Postal guidelines and tabbed for mailing.
