Child Custody Project website design
Design challenge: create a visually appealing, responsive website for long-form content.
Role: web design, responsive prototyping, logo design, image research, content modeling
Final version, home and interior page
Home page. The site design was optimized for long-form scholarly essays, with a slider on the home page citing key stats to set the stage.
The design makes judicious use of typography, size contrast, and color to display lengthy essays in a visually appealing way.

Initial concept
When this project started, the graduate student and faculty advisor wanted a prototype to include in grant proposals; however, the content strategy and information architecture had yet to be decided. My html prototype provided an initial structure and content strategy—and gave me a chance to learn some jquery in the bargain to build a responsive slideshow of infographics.
Once funding came in, I worked with the grad student to better define the IA and look and feel.
