As the curator for the student art gallery at this spring's Frost Music and Arts Festival, I had the responsibility of organizing and arranging the student art in an outdoor setting. I partnered with SOCA (Student Organizing Committee for the Arts) to collect works by student artists and display them in the student gallery. Works featured included photographs (and photo series) from over 20 students, installation pieces, video art, and paintings.
Most of the photos were displayed on wooden panels like this one. We made sure to keep artists' work together.
We also had two tents on either side of the gallery where we displayed installations, paintings, and more personal photographs on easels.
