THE FUTURE OF WEARABLE TECHNOLOGY
Leading on from a previous research design project based on future gazing, I decided to explore the area of wearable technology, and how it affects peoples fitness routines. From research it was clear that apparel was swiftly predicted to replace smartwatches and fitness tracking devices, and there was a lack of useful ways to translate data produced after exercise. I aimed to look specifically into the competitive sport football, and evaluate and design a much more useful and engaging wearable to translate data through a more interesting means.
