More Pew Pew Less QQ
This was a school assignment to create a typography cookbook targeted at a certain group of audience. We had to make full use of type in this assignment and were not allowed to insert any images or photos at all. Additionally, 2 languages must be used. It was very challenging to do so as a cookbook is mostly a long set of instructions usually done in a rigid but most legible way.
I came up with the idea of making a cookbook of simple,easy and healthy food for gamers. This led me to mostly draw recipes from Japanese food. The design and flow of instructions for each item were carefully planned and constructed to maximise interest for the general gamer population.
All in all, it was very time consuming but very much worth the effort. Not to mention the fun out of creating the compositions and designs using mostly only text.
