Conflict Resolution: A Lesson in Visual Storytelling

Visual Storytelling is a great way to add interest and relay information. For this project, we were given various video clips and instructed to write a script discussing conflict resolution and compile the videos to align with the story being conveyed. The applications used: iMovie and GarageBand.
Conflict Resolution highlights the creation of storytelling with pre-made video clips and an original script explaining how to resolve conflicts. Organizing the video clips allowed me to write a script based on the visual story, instead of trying to force the clips to flow with the script. The video clips do not have audio. Therefore, the interpretation of the action is left up to the viewer. Using GarageBand and iMovie, the story came together seamlessly.
The script was loaded into GarageBand after being written. Having the script in Garageband made recording the voice-over more accessible and fewer windows were open during the recording process. After a few takes, the audio was edited and adjusted to ensure a nice crisp voice-over.
