Multi-year project for the National Library of Medicine
This project showcases the interface design of a multi-year, multi-phase educational children's project for the National Library of Medicine. The mission of the project was to increase awareness of potential environmental hazards in the home. The Distinct Studios team collaborated with the subject matter experts of the National Library of Medicine to design and build a multimedia flash based web site that was then repurposed for a CDROM as well as a museum kiosk. In addition to visual concept development, Distinct Studios wrote scripts, lesson plans, and produced collateral material. My connection with the project spanned idea generation, launch and on-going public outreach.
