It was sad news I woke up to this past Saturday, June 4th 2016.

My dad is a former boxer in Sweden and also my boxing trainer all my life, so obviously I learned the name Mohammad Ali very early on.

Thanks champ for all the inspiration and motivation throughout my life.

 

This piece was made in about 40 minutes and I feel I need to do a more detailed tribute to the champ at some point.

This was filmed with the timelapse camera on my iphone and can be seen on my Instagram (robertekblom_art).

this was, as always, made using Copics on recycled paper from Purpurs stationary.
