The thesis Functional Ornamentation, is an attempt to redefine terms which have been banished from designers lives for several decades Ornamentation and Visual Pleasure. For ages, they have been considered pointless embellishment however, this thesis reverses the old theory by not just positioning ornamentation and visual pleasure back in design, but also redefines design itself.

Thesis work includes, a hand made 600 inches long accordion style book of collection of images that fit into the category of Functional Ornamentation.
