Mission Juno | Magazine Layout Mockup

Mission Juno | Magazine Layout Mockup
This project was based around the idea of creating a magazine based mockup that would be used to display some of the most basic information of the JUNO spacecraft, and its primary mission once it completes its journey towards planet Jupiter, and successfully enters the planets very own orbit.

The idea was to use my usual style of graphic design that usually involves the use of simplicity and minimalism, combined with simple shapes, text, and texture based images.

As for the style and layout of the text included, I felt that using a swiss style would be beneficial for placing all of the text itself to one side, in order to leave more room for the illustration. This in effect would be the first part of the double page spread that the viewer would see as they go through the magazine, so that they would not be immediately put off by the thought of having to read even more text, and instead would be "wowed" by the sight of a colourful pictorial narrative.

This mockup includes a total of five different backgrounds that are made by various sample and shades from within the final design itself.

So, be sure to tell me what you think and which mockup you like the most down below.

This is a non-commercial project.
