A picture is worth a thousand words

Some claim that a picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words. Each story is unique, depending on the picture/photo and the beholder as well. And it is the singularity of the beholder that translates the forms into thoughts and transforms them into emotions.

This equation works fine the other way too. Each emotion is translated into a thought in our mind and eventually is formed into a picture. For example, each time I think of happiness/joy, the first picture that comes in my mind is a playground.

Based on that assumption I created my artwork series "Emotions", using the forms of the typographical symbols as my brushes and the color palette as my canvas.
"Frustration"
"Joy"
"Intensity"
"Captivity"
"Contradiction"
"Escalation"
