Working alongside visionary Director Byron Atienza and Creative Director Bobby Brackins,
I created neon title design animations sprinkled throughout the video.
The titles were build in three phases: First, the vector paths were set in Illustrator. Second, the paths were taken into Photoshop and color treated. Each title was saved as 3 PDSs: Base (transparent glass tube), Light (glowing with subtle noise) and the Highlight/Shine layer that conveyed a light source to push depth. Last, using After Effects each title was precomposed and animated on a Z-Axis and positioned frame by frame. Additional layer FX were added like color correction and gaussian blur to match the aperture. Once the animations were finalized, each title was exported as transparent PNG sequences & delivered with timecode for final color & edit.
