Watercolor and its application to tattoo

I'm trying to introduce what I consider should be a good technique of watercolour tattoo, I'm studying my customer's body shapes, looking for and trying to find their muscles and their movements to make good tattoo. But it isn't that simple: if you paint the wrong shape on someone’s body, it can change the proportion in the area you are tattooing. Your tattoo will be difficult to understand and in the worst case scenario, it can (badly) change someone’s body forever. My goal is finding the good relationship between the shape and body, using the watercolour techniques. I have been working in forms and colours, watching every detail and every texture, starting with small designs. When a customer wants a watercolour tattoo of mine, I have a conversation with them and after a couple of hours sketching, I start designing with watercolour and then I begin working with the skin. I have spent the last two years researching the watercolour tattoo in different techniques and methods of watercolour in order to achieve consistency in the design of my work. For example, if the design requires dynamism or if it is a more symmetrical design that requires great quality of detail. I also have to look for the right hue and value of the colours. I design every watercolour tattoo from my personal experience and research plus the idea in mind of the customer which will complete the actual tattoo.
