36 Days of Type
2016
I participated in the 2016 edition of the annual 36 Days of Type project. At the time I was working on creating a new display typeface in the art deco typographic tradition. I used each new day as a chance to give individual focus to one glyph from the alphabet. This allowed me to test out different forms, create a mini type specimen to explore stylistic intent, and get initial feedback on the typeface from the public much earlier than I normally would.
