What I like to consider the main view of the application. The goal was to allow users to be able to easily compare a county to its parent geographies (state, region, nation). We ended up with the "Rubic cube" display of information as some of the information presented are at 1% or less, which we felt would not convey well in a traditional pie chart.

One particular sector of the ocean economy highlighted. This application went straight from sketches to complete without much change in layout. While this is certainly a success from a UX perspective, I would have preferred us spend some time at some point to the aesthetic design, as well as refining some of the transitions and pop up messages.
