Triple Helix Magazine at UC Berkeley

The second issue of the re-established Triple Helix chapter at Berkeley. As Chief of Design, my goals for this issue were to: refine the Triple Helix "look", be a little more creative in our page design, and create more "design rules" for the publication. As before, the purpose of design for this magazine is to make science and science policy accessible to readers – and I think we made great strides with this second issue. I designed pages 1-3, 8-11 and 14-21, and made final design edits throughout the magazine.
This is the first issue of the re-established Berkeley chapter of the Triple Helix. I was selected as Chief of Design, and my main goal for the first issue was to create an elegant magazine that could attract readers to read about science phenomena and policy. A large part of designing this first issue was to create a brand design for our Triple Helix chapter. I worked on pages 1-23 and was in charge of making final edits and compiling the magazine.
