“What is old?” is an ordinary and boring photography collection.
This collection is about the showing the existence or non-existence against the effect of the natural and humane compulsion of objects, spaces and the materials. All the objects in this collection have the traces on it, because of their users in the past or the location of them.
Fotoğraflar, “eski” kavramının bu izlerle olan doğrudan ilgisini ve izlerin objelere ve mekanlara kattığı eşsizliği konu alır. Eski objelerin zamanla eriştiği eşsizliktir. Eşsizleşen objelerin sahip oldukları izler fotoğraflarda; durağanlık sessizlik ve terkedilmişlik vurgusuyla sunulmuştur.
All the photos is about the relation between the concept of “old” and the uniqueness which comes from the traces by time. “Basically, aging is the uniqueness which objects get under favour of time.” The objects which are get uniqueness presented with feeling of inertia, quiteness and desolateness.
