So this was a little different for me. I did a food art series for NeonMob. Albeit a small series, but still, a series :)

In this project, my goal was to create food focused pieces in ways that I thought conveyed a bit of fun, while still retaining that tantalizing and mouth-watering sensation you get when you see the real thing. 

For each card in the series I focused on "fun" foods such as doughnuts, ice cream, mini pies and treats that no one really needs to eat - because let's be real, nutritional value: ZERO -  and yet, they are so tasty and delicious you just want to stuff your mouth with them! These are foods that I refer to as "Nom-noms". 

Here's an animted gif (below) that shows my work in progress for the series card "Doughnuts". I start by working out the initial composition in a sketchbook sketch, then scan that preliminary drawing into my computer and work digitally from there. Et voilà! Doughnuts!
