The Best Feedback is No Feedback
About a month or so later, several folks from the organization took this tool to a conference to present to users. They has the opportunity to sit in breakout groups and talk about the goal of the project and what each snapshot was talking about.

Afterwards, we had a meeting to discuss the feedback received.  All of the feedback was related to the content / data, not the delivery. The interface got people to what they were interested in, and then got out of the way, which is exactly what an interface should do.
The initial screen a user is presented.
The Flood Inundation snapshot. Charts are built with Highcharts, and the maps are built on top of ESRI's Javascript API.
The Ocean Jobs snapshot. The data for the charts (and some of the inline text) is provided from a SQL Server database via an Open Data Protocol. It is fed as XML, and then parsed by the javascript in the app.
