After about a 5 year break with my focus primarily on building the Magnolia brand, I was asked to step back into Best Buy campaigns and co-lead the Holiday style guide development. Holiday always presents a unique and exciting challenge and this year was no different. Work from an agency partner was originally intended to drive the approach, but due to tight timelines the concepting, design, messaging and development was brought into our group within Channel Design. We quickly made the project cross-functional inviting creative teams from BestBuy.com and YellowTag to collaborate. Given short concept and approvals windows we delivered what many called the most cohesive holiday ever at Best Buy.
