Seeing The Everyday In A Different Light
I've always been fascinated with patterns and textures.  Colors entice me to question more than just their hue and saturation, but to see how they relate to one another in the overall composition.  Sometimes, as is the case in this series, patterns dictate the content of an image more than color does.  True, color plays a pivotal role in each of these images, but the allure for me is the dizzying array of patterns and textures, as well as the movement of light and shadow within the frame, that solidifies the composition in my minds eye.

Shot above, below and beside the aging fishing piers of Gloucester, there is so much to capture there with only your imagination to rein you in.
