Pictogram Project
This is a first year project at the university of Portsmouth. The project challenged us to create a set of six pictograms. The focus of which could be anything you like, and as fan of video games and aspiring to do some thing a little different that hasn't been seen before, I decided to create a timeline featuring a variety of handguns ranging from 17th century flintlock pistols to the modern desert eagle.
The aim of the images are to display the complex information about each weapon, while still being easy to distinguish the differences between them even at small sizes. While some of the images are drastically different to others the style of which they are illustrated in still displays that they all are part of a set that could be expanded upon in the future, as there a lot more weapons that could be added to the project.
