Patterns, Color, Fashion - Oh My

If you don't know me, I love Fashion. Over the past five years or so, I've collected so much clothing and I realized I never wear it all. Therefore, I forced myself to wear everything in my closet, until I ran out of outfits. No laundry occurred, to ensure that I would not make ANY repeats. Only thing I repeated was outerwear and accessories. Since I did this through fall/winter, shorts were out of the question (although I should've worn them with tights) and at the end, the amount of shirts I own outweighed the bottoms. I not only wanted to complete this to see how long I could go without repeating anything, but I also wanted to explore my wardrobe from a creative aspect. As a graphic designer, I love patterns and colors. In my everyday wardrobe, I'm always mixing prints and coming up with unique color combinations. Since clothes are such a vital part of what gives me life, I wanted to document each piece of clothing I have. So, I decided to scan each piece of clothing into a digital form. That way, I can make fun things like these Valentine Cards: https://www.behance.net/gallery/34008980/2016-Valentines-Cards In addition to having hi resolution scans of each clothing article, I took a picture of each outfit, per my Dad's request and I'm glad I did so. These are not so hi-res as my phone camera at the time wasn't the best. So how long can one go without repeating anything? 4 months! You are about to relive what I wore from October 5, 2015 to February 19, 2016. I have no regrets, other than not hiring a professional photographer and waiting four months to do laundry. The thing I love most about this whole experiment, is that if I was to repeat this, every single outfit would be different, because there's so many ways to mix and match clothing. I hope you're inspired on many levels to explore your own wardrobe. Enjoy!

I wanted to take this a step further and explore what one color in my wardrobe looks like and how many different shades there are. Below are a couple compilations.
