Dil Radakhrishnan is an Indian photographer based in Santa Clara, CA. He came to me, and ask me for a logo to use as a discrete watermark to use in his photographs. He wanted a simple logo, he even considered not having his name on it. So I just took his initial D, en shape of a shutter from a camera and started to work.

 

The logo illustration shows exactly that, a six flaps shutter in the shape of an hexagon for the inner aperture, on the outside the six shapes form a D. This logo works to include it as watermark in the photos without making it to obvious or invasive, allowing to show the beauty of the photographic artwork without competing with it, and yet looks simple and elegant.
