CRAVISM was a project showcasing small food business owners and their shops in a short and elegant video format. Our main goal for this project was to convey the business owners inspirations and reasonings for what makes them so passionate about what they are doing. We sought to express the vibes of the shops in such a way that it would make the viewer crave more of what they are seeing. 

Bean Bar is a coffee shop located in the heart of Downtown's East Village, a block away from Petco Park Baseball Stadium. This collaboration came to fruition once we tried their cold brew coffe. We sat down with their barrista, James, to learn a little more about the shop, the coffee, and how the whole business came to life.

Hammonds is an ice cream shop in North Park on University Ave. They disrupted the ice cream market in San Diego through their sourcing and presentation. They are now one of the most popular ice cream joints in SD, and have since opened a second location in Point loma's Liberty Station.

Sab-E-Lee is THE most authentic Thai food restaurant in all of San Diego. The only way to be more authentic would be to fly some Thai food in from Thailand. This restaurant started as a classic hole in the wall, in what once was a gang infested neighborhood of Linda Vista. Once the community began to see a declince in violence and gangs dispersed from the area the more opportunity there was for the shop to shine. With a daily line-out-the-door during lunch time, they were forced to expand and open a second location across the street from the main shop.
