Chaimi is a series of pop-up dining experience that collaborates with restaurants to bring the richness of Chinese cuisine and friendly conversation to New York City. New Yorkers know good food and this great city we call home is long overdue for better Chinese options which are just enough to fill a hole in stomach. But we want to show the food with love. The goodness we grew up on, with like-minded, hungry people. We are what we eat, so let’s eat real food.

We match one chosen regional specialty with a restaurant that is itching to bring it to those who crave it. Chaimi then work with the chef to create a complete mouth-watering menu. A Chaimi experience is usually happens around 20 people, at off-peak hours.

The entire project is comprised of a business model, website design, pitch book, marketing materials, video, and a pitch presentation as thesis requirements of the MFA Design Entrepreneurship program at the School of Visual Arts.
