First prize of Under 26 category of the design contest 3° Design Award promoted by Riva 1920.
Riva 1920 is a very famous Italian furniture company. Their products come from working techniques of the wood tradition, thanks to their wise artisans and to the use of advanced technologies. This allows the realization of products of great quality, which have their own distinctive characteristics and which can be easily adjustable to custom-made products.
In the last years, Riva 1920 promotes a very important international design competition focused on a product category.
For Salone del Mobile 2016 they was looking for new wooden stools or benches.
Inspired by the sinuous curves of a woman, Venus is a high stool in cedar.
Venus, goddess of beauty and love, is still considered an aesthetical model of reference.
The curve of the pelvis creates a concavity that allows the support of the feet, essential in the high stools.
