I have always been a fan and consumer of Patagonia. They make the best clothes for skiing, and their innovative way of doing business has always been inspiring. When I was asked by Chris Malloy to collaborate with him in developing the identity for their new "Ocean Initiative" or Surf Line I was really excited. Chris Malloy is also someone I have admired for a long time for his work as a film maker. Balancing the history and legacy of this iconic brand while also creating a distinctive and new voice for their surf line was, I think, our greatest achievement. I continue to work with Patagonia, now mainly doing Pattern and Tshirt designs. Out of this project I also created a new line and what I see as a "sub-brand" for Patagonia; Live Simply
