Co-op offers practical experience opportunities to students in about 40 academic programs across all faculties in the university at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. They wanted to spice up their looks to attract more students. During my internship with the Co-Op, I created three graphic elements. The first one was for the mentorship program, the second for the co-op to industry program and the third one was for students learning and professional development. During that time I had the chance to work with Concordia's Visual Art Director and go to get the official approval for the usage of my design in the future materials of the Co-Op.
A Co-op senior student (mentee) is paired with a Co-op alumni (mentor) in which they embark on an enriching contextual learning experience together to help the senior student transition smoothly from school to the working world. The Institute for Co-operative Education is responsible for coordinating the Co-op to Industry Mentorship Program and offers professional development opportunities for mentees and mentors.
