I'm particularly proud of this project in that I conceptualized most of what makes it unique. These are hiring hadouts for a startup fair with a twist: They double as a live demo of SMRT Software
SMRT is based on inventory management through bar codes. Each piece of clothing gets a unique code, and details such as size, brand, and any stains or damage. When the SMRT rep at the convention spoke to potential programmers, he had them scan the bar code right into the software. They could go through the process of marking the stain and damage, and really seeing how our software operates first hand. This postcard is memorable to them because they directly interacted with it.
On the back i incorporated team portraits to add personality and familiarity. And of course, job skills, a summary of the company, and contact information.
When the hiring manager requested an 8.5x11 flyer for a hiring event I said "Absolutely not." I've been showing at conventions long enough to know the number one way to get your handouts thrown away is to create forgettable, oversized flyers. Instead, I created these awesome interactive postcards that would serve a 2-fold purpose.
