“OOPS Magazin” was a student project aiming to collect and promote work from design students at Univerzitet Za Poslovne Studije (shorten "UPS", therefore the name "OOPS" to represent the creative part of the uni) in Banja Luka. Established by four classmates, our aim was to showcase student work from different subjects including various fields such as visual identity design, packaging design, illustration, typography and photography. The magazine was intended to be published in both online and print version, dropping new issue at the end of each semester.

Being one of the project organizers, my task was to design a logo and visual campaign calling students to submit their work for a chance to be featured. Brainstorming a little, I managed to come up with an idea for the logo that I later developed and found its use throughout the entire campaign.

As the main focus of the magazine was the promotion of student work (which was to be delivered) and no other content was planned to be included, hence the idea of an empty and hollow magazine for the logo. That way the message was clear - we are a magazine, we need content and that is your work!

Aside from the logo, I’ve designed posters, stickers, website layout, e-mail newsletter etc. to promote the project throughout the uni and engage design students.

This visual identity was created back in 2016.
