The video and renders are presentation of the implementation of research results during the Flexibility workshop. The task of the workshop was to study the features of flexible materials and determine the possibilities for their further use in design and architecture. The result of the work was the "breathing" bench under the name of the Hardnut, the essence of which consists in the ability of the bench to create the necessary convenient shape, at the expense of balls that are interconnected and react to the approach of a person, inflating with its approximation and blown away when a person goes away. The flexible structure, which is located outside of the balls and holds the balls in a certain direction in the process of "breathing" due to the chaotic combination of flexible elements of the design, creates a diverse non-repeating pattern.
