Project Objective: Update Wizdy's asthma trigger illustrations to match the current art style.
I made minor changes to the design and recreated the triggers in a flat vector form. The
updated artwork can also be used in animations.
Note: I did not create the original designs—I am only responsible for the visual update.
The general color palette and design were not drastically changed to keep the art consistent.
The updated asthma trigger illustrations are to be used in various promotional media; we want
people to see the updated illustrations and be able to connect them to the in-game art assets.
CIGARETTES
The smoke and chemicals from cigarettes irritate the airways and lungs.
COCKROACHES
Crumbled exoskeletons and cockroach poop is easily made airborn, like dust.
When breathed in, this causes irritation of the airway and lungs.
COLD WEATHER
Dry, frigid air can cause the airways to constrict.
DUST
Dust mites, dust bunnies, and all forms of dust may cause irritation and swelling of the airways.
MOLD
Mold spores can cause inflammation and irritation when breathed in.
PERFUME
Any strong smell, especially caused by aerosols, are made of tiny particles.
These particles can cause irritation in the airways when breathed in.
POLLEN
The tiny particles irritate not only your eyes, but also your nose and airways.
Pollen comes around every spring with allergy season!
SMOG
Fumes, smoke, chemicals and more—smog can cause a lot of respiratory issues!
All the foreign particles and smoke can bring on asthma attacks.
