corbusier consoles
Inspired by the game Corbusier played with the materials, specifically including steel frame as a key factor to determine form and design i felt compelled to design some consoles exploring that approach. I gave a modern touch assuming the edges either on the steel and on the wood. I also decided to lacquer the set so we could create an harmonious conjunction between the steel frame and the other components. I also applied the natural oak to break the synthetic feel creating an immediate approach to nature.
