Sol LeWitt Monograph

Monograph for Sol LeWitt
8x8, 126 pages
The concept for this monograph is based off of Sol's inspiration of the square. He based almost all of his work off of the structural and verstile square shape. The most beautiful and unique thing about his work is that it changes where it is looked at based on location, size of museum, outdoor space, etc. Also, Sol believed that it was the concept that was the art, not the actual execution. So not all of Sol's work was executed by Sol himself. The diversity of his work is stunning and allows a playful grid system to form to display his work.
Sol had a lot of brilliant thoughts to share about art, his work, and his thoughts on art. Paragraphs he wrote dance around in chapters of this monograph, with the final chapter being only about his thoughts on art.
