Positive/Negative Magazine is an award-winning collaboration project of the Editorial Design and Editorial Photography courses at RIT. Designer and photographer teams create multiple magazine spreads that present a
positive or negative perspective on engaging topics. Students are in charge of every aspect of the magazine,
from concept development, copywriting, art direction, photography, production design and execution.

Photography by Emily Baker
RAF ADDY Silver Award 2016
The Dad Bod editorial spread series is a satire of the latest fad of 2015: the Dad Bod. Readers can read up on what exactly is the Dad Bod and how to obtain the coveted figure. The evolution details the gradual ascent over time of the average Joe to the Dad Bod with a helpful equation.

The Pink Tax Editorial Spread
Photography by Emily Baker
RAF Addy Silver Award 2016
The Pink Tax editorial spread brings the issue of women being charged more for certain products or services, especially if they’re color coded pink for gender. The concept was to show the different items that women tend to pay more for, such as clothing, hygiene products, and even pens.
