Puss in Boots - Season 1 Social Promotions

On January 19th, 2015, Dreamworks release the Netflix-original, "Puss in Boots." Much like "All Hail King Julien" the show followed characters from the movie as they met new friends and set off on their own adventures, stories, and hijinks.
 
Leading up to (and for a while after) the release, social media sites were used to promote the show's release. Layout, design, and image manipulation were my core responsibilities for this project.
Again, working with incredible writing talent, a series of promotions were created. Some called back to Puss' highlights in the Shrek movies...
...while others used the show's own storytelling to reinforce Puss' unique personality.
Some posts were interconnected for a fun effect. In an episode, the Sphinx meets Puss and gives him a series of riddles to solve...
...that result in Puss taking all day to answer, and still getting it wrong! I really enjoyed getting to use many elements of the show - images, characters, writing, *and* storytelling - where ever possible!
Of course, being a show about a cat, how could you *not* have some Caturday promotion?
Then we had a series of activity-oriented posts. Since the show was something the whole family could enjoy, we provided things parents could do with thier children outside of the show.
As you can see, games, simple recipes, and other fun family-friendly activities were created so kids could continue to have fun outside the show!
