Redesign of an established magazine cover and masthead.
For this project I was required to redesign the masthead for an established magazine of my choice. As an avid hiker and future 46er (hopefully) I chose to redesign The Adirondack Explorer. This magazine is a classic of the region and is a much larger size and very unconventional by doing so. I chose to shrink the size to a standard magazine cover size (8.375" x 10.75") and to redesign the masthead as well. The primary programs used for this were Adobe Illustrator (CS5) for the masthead and Adobe Indesign (CS5) for the layout and formatting.
