Identity
Crystala approached me to design for her new business; vacation rentals in Hawaii. The first order of business--of course--was a logo. It was important to her that a sea turtle be worked into the motif, as the property she rents is near Turtle Bay on Oahu.
The green sea turtle was first sketched by hand in pencil; then scanned and recreated in vector-form.
The original registry was for "Crystala's Condo;" however, I designed the word "condo(s)" with an "s" from the beginning, in order to ensure design consistency and best accommodate the business' needs when more units were acquired.
